Missed this one but nice to hear Sanheim is keeping it going. Hell of a goal by Voracek.

2nd goal seemed kind of weak by Elliot.

I like the jerseys when they have more black on them, not sure about the orange components.

Nice to see the team bounce back and have a good game managing the puck and such. Giroux had an excellent backcheck to nullify a centering attempt that sprang one of our goals. Nice to see but the team as we all know doesn’t play with this urgency as much as it needs to over the course of the season

Nutter I disagree on the jersey. I believe them to be the worst of all time

If we play at least like this consistently, we can be happy here!!

No Kona, not everyone will happy. There will always be something for the disenchanted to gripe about. Wait about three minutes, and they will appear.

It was a good win against a division rival. Flyers need that! Hopefully, they can build off this and find some consistency!đź‘Ť

Let's see how Drew Hipskunk deployed our D at even strength shall we

Hagg: 17:49
Provorov: 17:33
Folin: 15:42
Ghost: 14:45
Gudas: 14:24
Sanhiem: 12:16

Reminder that Gudas and Sanhiem have been the most reliable pair. So reliable it was the only part of the lineup left unchanged.

Reminder that Sanhiem was benched for Folin late in a tie game and thereafter.

I get that these are 6 we have to put in right now, and honestly I'd rather have these 6 point then 5 of them with old MacDonald. But having Hagg, Provorov, and Folin leading your 5v5 ice time is a recipe for disaster and frankly if you don't see why I don't know what to tell you.

Play your best players. Sit your worst ones when you shorten the bench. That's all I'm asking. Player (frank)ing management

Oh and TK, arguably our most dynamic 5v5 forward behind the 2 obvious ones, saw 10:19 at ES.

Good bounce back game by Jake, even though he did have some pretty shakey moments early on.

Very pleased with what I'm seeing from Laughton and Sanhiem lately. These are guys they needed to take the next step this year and they are answering the call thus far.

That Lindblom -Weal -TK line brought the pressure and could cause fits so some teams that can't keep up with their speed.

Goaltending is going to be an adventure all season but all in all a decent showing from Elliott today.

I don't like Folin getting more minutes then Gudas. I'm guessing Hak must be first and foremost thinking about his puckmovers and dealing with what he has in the other 3 guys(Hagg, Gudas, Folin) to attempt to throw out three balanced pairings.

Sanhiem looks like he can handle more minutes however and they should really be finding a way to get him into the top 4. Folin and Hagg in the top four is going to come back to bite him sooner or later.

Missed the game but glad they put forth a spud effort. Sounds like Hak switched up d pairings which worked.

Also, love the jerseys. Always thought they look good in black. The old black alternates were prob my fave.

Im not a fan of the nameplate and the orange stripes the way they have them. Do like a bit more of a black focus. The current orange jerseys they use are a little too fruity for my liking.

Re: 3rd jersey

They really should've just kept the Winter classic design. It's probably the best the Flyers uniform is ever going to look. All these other jerseys they've put out since seem like half baked cash grabs.

Best team win of the season so far against one of the NHL's best performing teams right now. Kinkaid has been spectacular. Weal with a bunch of penalties but played well IMO. The unsportsmanlike call was BS IMO. Jake is continuing his elite play and Patrick looked good coming back into the lineup. Elliot still scares me but the team defense, sound back-checking and altered D pairings seemed to really work out this afternoon. Gudas was phenomenal. Finally it looks like Provorov is rounding into form.

I didn’t see the game but I think Provorov will greatly improve from being on a new pairing.

Said it before, when AMac comes back, make Provy and Gudas the top pair. AMac can pair with Sanheim and Ghost with Hagg.

A few thoughts.
I like the third jersey.

I actually listened on the radio to the 2nd period against the Panthers this week...5 goals....maybe I should just sit in the car from now on.

As far as ice time. After Folins gaf the other night, perhaps Hak wanted too re assure the guy by playing him in defensive situations....you can’t kill a guys confidence in certain circumstances....anyways just a guess.

Nice to see Sanheim has settled in.

My apologies to Gudas. He is playing some solid hockey the last 4-5 games.

I couldn’t be only guy praying the Devils would not hit the net again after they tied the game in the third.

Young guns on team are starting to contribute and that can only be good.

That is all.

He was still making the uncharacteristic puck handling errors today that have plagued him this regular season because a different partner isn't fixing what's going on in his head or with his hands. I don't recall those errors happening during the preseason so whatever is causing it, is new.

I really hope the media don't stop hounding Hextall about this joke of a penalty kill. This will be the 5th terrible year in a row unless there's a miraculous turnaround.
